SCHOOL OF CHIEF ARCHITECT

SCHOOL OF CHIEF ARCHITECT IN PERM is a free 9-day project educational program aimed at developing the city's key areas. Over the course of the program, participants, guided by leading Russian and international SCA experts, develop 4 relevant design tasks of various scales, provided by the Perm Region Governor Administration.

Initial short-term measures for restoring the city’s connections with the upper level of the waterfront in the section between Kirsanova st. and Ostrovskogo st. – ‘Kama bel-etage’
The concept of a children’s railway as an activator for the area along the Kama river high-water bed. Integration of the project into the waterfront
Shaping the hotbed for local residents and city guests to gather in the center of Perm – Oktyabrskaya Square. The model of shaping a public space: from a parking to an incubator of urban development.
Opening and integrating the Shpagin machinery plant area into the urban public space. Developing the tactics of small deeds (quick, feasible, unassisted) that will show initial results for the long-term project straightaway
